Zach's 2....

...months old that is! I know I'm a little late in posting this as he was officially 2 months old on 2/13, but better late than never. At his 2 month check-up the doctor said he is doing perfect and that developmentally he is super smart (but we already knew that!). He is now a strapping 13 lbs 1 oz and is 23" long...about middle of the charts for height, but 80% for weight. I wasn't kidding when I said he wants to eat all the time :) He also had an exciting Valentines Day date with his Great Grandma Maas going out for Chinese Buffet but unfortunately I don't have the picture of that yet. Here is Zach in one of his big boy outfits after church today. His first time wearing shoes!! The other one is just a cute picture from when he was playing on his ball with Grandma Geri.

Spoiled Sleeper

Like alot of new parents we have been struggling to get on a schedule, more specifically a sleeping schedule. Zach is so cute and snuggling that everyone wanted to hold him and he got too used to sleeping in someone's arms. He first transitioned to his bouncer but his mommy knew he had to learn how to sleep in his bed. The first couple of nights were rough for him (and his mom who was a wreck not having him in her bedroom to be able to hear him breathe all night) but he has finally graduated to his big boy crib!! Here are a few pictures of our spoiled sleeper :)
Late night rocking to sleep with daddy.

Stubborn Smiles

Same old same old here in the GreeneHouse! One day runs into the next with Zach eating, sleeping and of course filling his diaper :) He does some new funny thing every day though and just being around him makes our days awesome! We keep trying to get his smile on camera, but by the time the flash goes the big smile has passed. Here are our most recent attempts.

Our journey begins...

I (Sarah) have to say that I hate the word "blog" and I was resistant to start this. However, for the sake of all of those who love Zach and are too far away to see him growing and for those who just like to peruse the blogs of people they know (like me!) I decided to start this here blogamajiggy. I apologize in advance for any cheesiness or geekiness that may ensue, but hey, Zach is cute enough to overshadow anything silly his mom may do.

On a different note- Tooter (that's Zach) is doing great! He is more interactive and alert everyday. He smiles all the time, laughs, coos and "talks". He likes to hang out in his bouncer and to eat ALL the time :)
Dave and I have really enjoyed being parents and beginning this new phase of life.

God is good all the time!!
